The estimator multiplies these amounts by twelve, adds the verified implementation band and applies optional GST. Your quoted prices are not independently verified; published-price mode requires confirmed AUD source data.

How is Odoo priced in Australia?
Odoo publishes Standard and Custom subscriptions per internal user, per month. Use the recurring AUD rate on your Odoo quote for the plan and billing period you select. Quote inputs start blank; changing the plan or billing period clears them so you can enter the applicable rate. Standard covers every Odoo app on Odoo Online hosting. Custom costs more per user and unlocks Odoo.sh or on-premise hosting, Odoo Studio for customisation, multi-company and the external API, which is what most wholesalers and manufacturers need once integrations and custom fields come into play. Yearly billing is cheaper than monthly. Count employees who use internal applications, including expenses or timesheets, as paying users unless Odoo confirms the specific access arrangement. Customer and supplier portal access is separate. The result identifies your entered quote separately from verified published prices and implementation bands. The four public Australian licence rates still require source confirmation, so published-price mode cannot yet calculate paid plans. An introductory first-year price must not be entered as an ongoing rate.
What does an Odoo implementation cost on top of licences?
A fixed price for a defined scope, in our case. Implementation covers discovery, configuration of the apps in scope, data migration from the current system, integrations, testing, training and go-live support, and it is the larger number in year one for most businesses under fifty users. We publish package prices by scope so the estimate here is not a guess; the estimator adds the package you choose to the licences and hosting and shows year one and the ongoing years separately. Is Odoo.sh or Odoo Online the right hosting?
Odoo Online is included with the Standard and Custom plans, managed entirely by Odoo, and suits businesses with no custom code. Odoo.sh is Odoo’s platform for custom modules: it adds staging branches, backups, a development workflow and the ability to install community and custom apps, priced per worker (concurrent capacity), staging branch and storage. On-premise means your own servers and your own operations. Most Australian wholesalers and manufacturers we work with end up on Odoo.sh once they need an integration or a custom report; enter your quoted monthly AUD hosting total to add it to the budget. If your hosting quote is annual, divide its recurring annual total by twelve first. Include any annual billing discount in that monthly amount; the estimator does not apply it again. The official configurator returned USD hosting amounts during this review, so those published values are excluded from AUD totals. Monthly billing is not offered for on-premise hosting.
How many Odoo users do you actually need?
Fewer than the headcount. Count the people who will create or edit records: sales, purchasing, warehouse, accounts, management. Customer and supplier portal access is separate from internal-user access. Confirm the licence required for each employee role and workflow before deciding the user count. A 40-person wholesaler often runs on 12 to 18 internal users. Enter the number you think, then talk to us about the roles; user count is the main lever on the ongoing cost.

Frequently asked questions
Are Odoo prices in Australian dollars?
All totals are in AUD. Enter your quoted licence and Odoo.sh hosting amounts in AUD, excluding GST. These inputs are clearly identified as your quote, not verified public prices. Published Australian Standard and Custom rates still require confirmation. The checked USD Odoo.sh prices are never relabelled or added to an AUD budget.
Is the One App Free plan really free?
Odoo publishes One App Free with unlimited users on Odoo Online for a single app and any applications that app needs to work. An additional unrelated app requires a paid plan. The free subscription excludes implementation services, which are shown separately if you choose an Auboros package.
Do portal users cost anything?
Customers and suppliers using the portal are normally separate from paid internal users. An employee who uses internal applications needs the appropriate licence; timesheets, expenses and approvals should be checked against the published plan and the actual workflow before estimating user numbers.
How accurate is this estimate?
The arithmetic uses the recurring AUD amounts you enter and the verified implementation band. Your quote inputs are not independently verified, so confirm their currency, GST basis, billing period and whether a first-year discount applies. The result is a budget estimate. Own server costs are extra, and packages with only a starting price require a scoped proposal.
